The Forward twin screw Loss-in-Weight Feeder is designed to provide high-accuracy, high-value gravimetric feeding for a wide variety of materials such as cohesive or sticky powders, fibers, flakes and floodable powders. Feed rates range from 15-4,000 Llhr. , depending on feeder configuration and material characteristics. Twin screw feeders are available with a wide range of interchangeable feed screws depending on the material being fed. The feeder is mounted on the Forward scale, which uses a high-speed and highly accurate strain gauge load cel l. The scale material is stainless steel and the scale housing is completely enclosed. AII material contact parts are stainless steel. The feeder is easily disassembled for cleaning or change over. The scale is also detachable for quick assemblance, cleaning and maintenance on spot. Optimum feed screws are selected based on material characteristics of the bulk solid to be fed . Following are estimated feed rates for free-flowing materials. For feed rates at either end of the range, feeder testing is recommended.
